I have always had this fantasy of Damon having a supernatural fiance. Everything being lovey dovey between them and katherine tearing them apart. Then Damon walking in the woods and BAM! There's ex-fiance in modern times in the flesh. Am I the only one who thinks this little triangle with damen, ex-fiance who is stilkl in love with him, and Elena would be an interesting read?
